Day ten, back on track

It ended up being a terribly unproductive weekend for my NaNoWriMo novel, but looking back on it in hindsight, I think perhaps I might have needed it.  Maybe it was the brief discussion of my current difficulties with Janson and his brother-in-law, maybe it was just taking it easy and spending some time with family somewhere quiet and away from it all, maybe it was watching Kung Fu Panda three times and teaching the entire family to play Wii Bowling.

In any case, today I was able to find that NaNo attitude again and just write through the next scene, and one or so others, making about a day and a half word count for my personal goal and nearly two days’ worth of the required goal.  So, I remain ahead, but the challenge of finding another 30,000 words to fit in to this story remains… on the horizon for now.
