What started as a slow day turned out to be most fruitful, ending up with over two days’ worth of words at 3,462.  It was not looking promising when I struggled to break 1,000 words by lunchtime, but somehow, I got into the flow in the afternoon – don’t you love when that happens?  One of the joys of NaNoWriMo.

The story itself is moving along fairly swiftly.  At this part in the last draft, there was a lot of character development, and even not taking that into account, it seems like I’m getting through the story a lot quicker than last time.  Of course, the last draft took me a year to write.  One character has been arrested, another has been introduced, and I managed to rewrite a section that I still kind of liked from the previous draft.

All’s well that ends well.  On to tomorrow!
