Body: Muscular build; has a holographic tattoo of wings on his back
History: Zander was a typical college student who was far more interested in partying than studying when he decided to join the army. Two tours of duty later, he still doesn’t know what to do with his life and had been out of work for a few months when he met Chen and learned about Project Requiem.
Body: Slender, feminine; has realistic, synthetic cat ears on top of her head that she can move at will
History: Once a key player in Project Requiem, Elya disappeared when the project fell apart. She lost her memory and her voice from the stress and her skin and hair paled, making her nearly unrecognizeable. She has been running ever since, though she can’t remember what she’s running from.
Body: Thin build
History: Chen was still in college when Project Requiem fell apart, though he was close to Dwayne, its lead engineer. Due to his connection, Chen was able to access Dwayne’s notes on the project. With Zander’s help, he built up a group of engineers and rogues trying to finish what Requiem started.
Body: Average build
History: Amélie’s life as a critical care nurse wasn’t too exciting until she ran into Zander and Chen—literally. After seeing so many people come through her hospital doors dead from Halcyon, she decided to help them finish the antivirus, though it jeopardizes her job and social life to do so.
Body: Toned with small but well-defined curves; has five parallel blue LED lines on her left upper arm
History: Grew up in the underbelly of the city with little to her name and a lot to prove. Learning how to steal credit card numbers and hijack cars at an early age, she worked her way up to organized crime as a teenager. Using the resources she gathered, she branched off to become a high-profile mercenary for large corporations and is now charged by the cybernetics firm that supplied the technology for Project Requiem to recover Dwayne’s notes.
Body: Medium build
History: Dwayne’s ambitions in life had been fairly low-key until he considered how to create an antivirus for Halcyon and his professor in college got him in contact with some military officials. Project Requiem was born and it became his life until contract disputes with the army and the private firm providing the technology ended it.
