Yes, I fear I did miss out on sketching yesterday. I had time, but instead, I did some inking, which I don’t regret. For today, some fanart from Chrono Trigger:
All goes well, bookmarks of these – and hopefully other characters as well, though I’m leery of trying to draw Robo – will be available at Fan Expo.
Yes, I missed yesterday. Today, some more sketches based on models I built in FaceGen Modeller. On the right is Jeremy, the star of Eyes of a Dragon, first in a sketch directly done from the model, then in a more stylized version. On the left is a second sketch from the model of Derek from the same story, which I keep tweaking. The model, that is. The likeness there is pretty close to how I envision him, though I think some shading might be needed to portray him properly.
Also, I’m sorry to say that finished art, and updates in general, are likely to become scarce as I am now working again. On the bright side, more money for art supplies?
Today’s daily sketch is also another glimpse into the past of the characters in my novel Eyes of a Dragon.
Krisiniel Larius and his father Nioreshtan relaxing in a faux hot spring – achieved through coals – while on the march with the Therian army. This scene appears 1-2 years prior to the story.
I’ve added a new page here – novels. This section contains information on all my various novels in progress. At least, the ones that are developed enough to merit such a section. If you’re interested in finding out more about my current projects, head on over and browse around and feel free to let me know what you think.
I don’t actually do a lot of drawing these days. Of course, I’ve been incredibly busy of late. But, I felt like sharing something I drew today. This is the star of Eyes of a Dragon:
Trying to work on my faces a bit, at least in the close-up. I think I’m starting to get an idea of what I’ve been doing wrong. This is going to be the profile image in the character information section on the website.
